“Austin Butler Spills the Tea on Feeling Like a ‘Middle-Aged Woman’ While Watching This Film – Can You Guess Which One?”

Austin Butler is a multi-talented American actor and singer who has gained fame for his performances in various movies, TV shows, and theater productions. He was born on August 17, 1991, in Anaheim, California, and comes from a family involved in the entertainment industry.

 

 

Butler started his career with minor roles in popular TV series like “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide” and “Hannah Montana.” He gained wider recognition for his appearances in TV shows such as “Switched at Birth” and “The Carrie Diaries.” He has also acted in movies such as “Aliens in the Attic,” “The Dead Don’t Die,” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

 

 

Apart from his acting career, Austin Butler is also a talented singer who has released several songs, including a cover of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” from the movie “Lilo & Stitch.” He has also performed in numerous musical productions, such as “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Annie.”

 

 

Recently, Butler landed the coveted role of Elvis Presley in the Baz Luhrmann biopic “Elvis,” slated for release in 2022. He is engaged to popular actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens, whom he has been dating since 2011.

 

 

Elvis actor Austin Butler recalled how he felt like a middle-aged women while watching Sex and the City, as he prepared for CW’s The Carrie Diaries.

 

 

In his appearance at Variety’s podcast on Friday, the actor, 31 revealed “I have so many fond memories of that time because that was when I first moved to New York,” he further added “I never lived in New York before and I was able to move to New York for two years and make that show. It was that and getting to be around AnnaSophia [Robb], everybody in that show, [they were] just so fun to be around, even just going back and watching Sex and the City.”

 

 

Butler continued, “I remember having an apartment in New York, I’d take a bath and I’d pop on Sex and the City. I was like a middle-aged woman [with] a glass of wine [and] always candles.”

 

 

The Switched at Birth star became popular for acting on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, then he was landed the role of Sebastian Kydd on The Carrie Diaries opposite Robb played by AnnaSophia in 2013.

 

 

The CW sitcom was based on two seasons and it aired until 2014 before cancellation and was inspired by Candace Bushnell’s Young Adult novel of the same name, which was a prequel spinoff to a younger version of Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw.
