In contrast, Henderson garnered praise from all quarters for her incredible eagle shot from a distance of 116 yards.

Nevertheless, the announcement of their teaming up has left fans eagerly anticipating their extraordinary talents on display at the Invitational next week.

The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational is a newly established tournament on the LPGA Tour, held at the Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan. It adopts a team format, commencing in 2019, where 72 teams comprising two women each participate in a 72-hole stroke play format, alternating between foursomes and four-ball rounds.

The event’s prize money has progressively increased since its inception, with last year’s winning team, Jennifer Kupcho and Lizette Salas, sharing a prize of $607,620. The purse for the 2023 edition has been set at an impressive $2.7 million.

Scheduled to be held from July 17th to 22nd this year, the tournament promises an intriguing competition to determine this year’s champions. Fans are excited to witness the performance of this new power duo and see if they can secure the top prize.
