Andre Agassi’s 19-Year-Old Daughter Proudly Flexes Mother Steffi Graf’s Record That Even Serena Williams, Roger Federer, and Margaret Court Failed to Achieve

There are a number of tennis legends on the WTA Tour who have carved out an impressive legacy for themselves by achieving remarkable feats over the past few decades or so. With 22 major titles in her bag, Steffi Graf also falls into the prestigious category of athletes who have cemented their position as legends in the game. However, the German tennis legend holds that one special feat that distinguishes her from other big names like Serena Williams, Roger Federer, and Margaret Court.

It was the year 1988 when the former tennis ace managed to pull off a very unique and difficult feat. The Tennis Hall of Famer was only 19 years old back then when she set an unbreakable record in the tennis realm. It is something that her daughter, Jaz Agassi, is still proud of, as suggested by her recent social media post.

Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi’s daughter hails the German tennis legend’s remarkable triumph
With several major titles and other achievements, Steffi Graf has always been one of the biggest names on the women’s circuit. The former tennis ace clinched 22 Grand Slam titles during her illustrious journey, which puts her in the esteemed company of tennis greats that also includes Serena Williams (23) and Margaret Court (24).

Apart from this, the Tennis Hall of Famer cemented her position at the number 1 spot of the WTA rankings for 377 weeks. Further, the former German tennis player is among the few others who managed to win the Wimbledon title 7 times. Among all these remarkable achievements, there is that one special feat that distinguishes her from other tennis legends.

Graf is the only player in the entire tennis community, male or female, who managed to achieve the Calendar Year Golden Slam: all four major titles and Olympic gold in a single season (1988). Taking note, the official Instagram page of Wimbledon recently hailed Graf’s remarkable triumphs. They also added a caption, “Steffi Graf, a special champion whose poise, power and precision lit up every court she played on 💫

The 22-time Grand Slam champion’s daughter, Jaz Agassi, also came across the same post. She further shared it on her Instagram story to suggest that she is proud of the tennis legend’s special achievement.

ATP tennis fans once needed a gentle reminder of Graf’s special feat
American tennis legends like Andre Agassi and Billie Jean King have never shied away from lauding Graf’s triumphs on the court. A few seasons back, there were talks going on about Novak Djokovic winning the Calendar Slam when he almost got close to clinching his 4th major title in the same season (2021).

Further, the fans began to believe that the Serbian tennis great would become the first player to achieve this difficult feat. Proving them wrong, Billie Jean King came forward to remind them of the German tennis legend who had already achieved that record.
